I was seeking something very different from what I had already experienced. I spent my entire life before law school on the East Coast and wanted to see what the West Coast was like. Law school seemed like the perfect way to transition to a completely new place, while still having a support system and an established social network through school. It was time to start living a little and try something new. Plus, when I visited, I fell in love with the campus and the people—it is hard not to!
